If you’ve opened Instagram recently, you’ve probably noticed: sunglasses are having a main character moment in 2025. We’re seeing everything from Y2K rimless to bold oversized acetate frames gracing the faces of fashion editors, celebrities, and that influencer you follow on TikTok.

But how do you choose your perfect pair? Sunglasses should do more than just block out UV; they’re an extension of your style, your personality, and (let’s be honest) your mood on any given day.

Here’s our guide to finding the pair that’ll have you saying, “These are so me.”

1. Understand the 2025 Trends (So You Can Choose to Follow Them… or Not)

This year’s biggest sunglasses trends include:

🕶️ Minimalist Rimless – Barely-there frames with a coloured lens twist.

🕶️ Fashion Tints – Think orange, pink, or blue. Y2K is back and it’s unapologetic.
